A Mass intention is a meaningful Catholic tradition and a powerful way to remember and pray for loved ones. The grace of great gift you can offer a loved one in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The prayers of that celebration of the Eucharist are directed in a special way toward that person or purpose. We honour you to pray in joy and for you. Mass intentions may be offered:
- For the repose of the soul of a deceased loved one given by ...
- For the health, wellbeing, or recovery of a loved one given by ...
- In thanksgiving for a blessing received, or for a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary given by ...
- In honour of a saint or special feast day
- For a special or private intention
When submitting your Mass intention, please provide the full name of the person or purpose for which the Mass is to be offered. Mass intentions are announced at the beginning of Mass.
Intentions for Saturday and Sunday Masses must be submitted by Friday of the week before. Requests sent on Friday cannot be scheduled for the immediate upcoming weekend and will be applied to the following weekend.
